Your role at Clorox:
Responsible for developing, deploying and leading the activation of Clorox strategies thru the sales organizations that deliver against the committed financial objectives. This role is responsible for developing an integrated sales plan, the AMPS objectives and category selling materials to support execution; establishes the KPIs and tracking mechanisms to deliver superior retail execution.
The resources necessary to achieve the objectives, managing the Trade Funds program and process within budget and serving as the customer voice for new initiatives. Additionally, this role leads the core functional processes like JBPs, shopper marketing, sales analytics and capability development.
In this role, you will:

Responsible for Category Sales Strategies and Planning

  • Owns the sales planning deliverables for assigned categories – translating brand/channel strategies into category execution tactics.
  • Develops the retail activation plans, category strategies, customer priorities, etc. Drives translation of Clorox strategies into JBP process.
  • Leads new initiative sales launch plans development and deployment; provide sales requirements into product development & design.
  • Leads the development and prioritization of AMPS objectives, identifying AMPS execution opportunities, designing programs and providing the tools for field sales managers and merchandisers to deliver the objectives.
  • Provides input for customer business planning process for selective top customers.
  • Drives translation of Clorox strategies into JBP process, enables and supports top customer joint business planning and top to top meetings.

Responsible for sales functional support across accounts/channels/brands including, but not limited to:

  • Responsible for sales input to LRP (long range plan)/annual budget/quarterly FCST by following company processes.
  • Drives NRM into trade agreements, promotional funding and strong application of customer knowledge into base pricing.
  • Communicating sales inputs as needed into S&OP process, responsible for the rolling FCST accuracy improvement.
  • Responsible for trade funds management policy, funding, guidelines and associated tracking or reporting to ensure trade fund spending is within budget and compliance.
  • Responsible for providing sales materials and compliance: specs, price lists, regulatory #s, etc.

Responsible for shopper marketing and ISD/Retail Merchandisers (in-store demonstrator) program communications and priorities.

  • Responsible for the ISD materials and communications developing ISD and merchandisers Clorox knowledge and responsibilities at retail.
  • Responsible for designing POP per QBP priorities and demo tools for ISDs to enable demonstration of product superiority
  • Responsible for developing the strategic shopper marketing events/activation plans

Analytics & Category Expertise

  • Creates and applies analytical insights to the business. Creates trackers, dashboards, measurements to support analytical decision making.
  • Drives a culture of analytics to action throughout the sales organization. Identifying and pursuing opportunities proactively
  • Drives category expertise through the accounts via developing and executing category growth visions.
  • Develops and delivers the narrative for strategic retailers, driving a two-way agreement about future growth.
  • Providing sales analytics on customer business, shopper insights and expertise on shelving and assortment.
