Description:

Created in 1999, Lactalis Grand Export has significantly strengthened the positions of the Lactalis Group in Asia, Africa, the French overseas territories, and the Middle East.
With over 350 employees based at the division’s headquarters in France at Choisy-le-Roi and in 14 countries and territories, Lactalis Grand Export markets a range of more than 2000 dairy products (milk, butter, cream, cheese, dairy desserts) for all distribution networks.
Leading international brands such as Président, Galbani, and Lactel, or strong regional brands such as Pride and Laicran, our brand positioning caters to the largest number of consumers, taking into account the local specificities of each marketing area.
Each year, more than 6000 containers are exported by our structure to over 80 countries.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus but not necessary.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in trade marketing, preferably in the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) industry. Expertise & knowledge in dairy products is a plus.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful trade marketing strategies.
  • Skills and Competencies:
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Proficiency in Excel & PowerPoint, able to skillfully manipulate and analyze data and then present them in a clear and visually appealing way. Experience with graphic design software/tools is a plus.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and innovative approach to trade marketing.
  • Personal Attributes:
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a strong focus on execution and results.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative, while also being a team player.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Willingness to travel and visit retail stores around the country as needed to support trade marketing activities and collect data.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages such as Arabic and French is a plus.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop promotional plans, including in-store activations, point-of-sale materials, and merchandising strategies.
  • Execution:
  • Implement trade marketing activities across various channels, ensuring timely and effective execution.
  • Coordinate with sales teams to ensure proper implementation of trade marketing initiatives in retail stores.
  • Manage budgets and allocate resources for trade marketing activities.
  • Analysis and Reporting:
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of trade marketing activities and their impact on sales and brand performance.
  • Prepare regular reports on trade marketing performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvements.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay informed about industry trends and market dynamics.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
  • Work closely with the sales team to understand their needs and support them with effective trade marketing tools and strategies.
  • Liaise with external partners, such as advertising agencies and vendors, to develop and produce marketing materials.
  • Communicate trade marketing plans and results to internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment and support.
  • Innovation and Improvement:
  • Identify and implement new and innovative trade marketing tactics to enhance brand visibility and sales.
  • Continuously seek ways to optimize trade marketing processes and improve efficiency.
