THE OPPORTUNITY

We are offering an exciting opportunity to join our kitchen team at Kingfisher Bay Resort. We are looking for Commis Chefs to up to Chef de Partie. We have positions ready to fill now. We are looking for Trade Qualified Chef’s ready to relocate to K’gari (Fraser Island) in North Queensland.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individuals with a passion for cooking and a drive to exceed expectations. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic team player, committed to delivering exceptional service and contributing to the overall success of our resort. This role requires you to move and live on the island at Kingfisher Bay Resort

SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent higher education (required)
• Food Safety Course (Essential)
• Minimum 2-years’ experience in a chef role (preferred)
• The ability to work across a broad rostering system
• Advanced communication and organisational skills
• Efficient and effective time management skills
• Demonstrated experience in a high-volume kitchen environment
• Previous experience within multi outlet resort / hotel environment
