ABOUT THE ROLE:
Knauf Gypsum has an opportunity for an experienced and passionate Trade Store Assistant Manager to work in our new & modern Trade Store based in Bundaberg, QLD. Reporting directly to the Trade Store Manager, this role is best suited to a person with strong leadership skills who can lead by example, has great communication skills both written and verbal & has a natural ability to develop and maintain customer relationships.
It is critical to understand the importance of complying with Workplace Health & Safety Standards and follow protocol. Be passionate about learning new skills for career development opportunities. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supporting the training and development of new team members to ensure they understand and deliver our high standards of customer service
- Responsible for site inventory and managing trade store profit & loss
- Accountable for a continuous improvement at the site
- Ensure that KPI and stock keeping information is analysed and issues addressed and reported
- Assisting to Create a positive and motivating culture within the team that inspires great performance and supporting all levels of team member performance
- Builds and sustains positive relationships within the team
- Ensure that Knauf Gypsum values are part of the operational culture
- Foster a culture of change readiness to optimise labour usage and streamline processes
- Contractor Management, finance & administration
