ABOUT THE ROLE:

Knauf Gypsum is looking for an enthusiastic and confident candidate to join us as a Trade Store Customer Service Operator. The role reports to the Trade Store Manager. This is a great opportunity to join our high performing trade store in Burleigh Heads, QLD.
The role involves all aspects of working in a warehousing environment including; picking orders, dealing with customers, working in pairs/ teams, operating forklifts & MHE, loading/ unloading trucks, working behind a desk on a computer, running promotions, in-store activations & general warehousing duties.

Ability to demonstrate a positive, can-do, and friendly attitude, willing to work both on the floor in the warehouse and in the office to interact with customers directly and picking orders accurately is key to being successful in the role.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Picking & Packing orders on a daily basis
• Dealing with Customers face-to-face & over the phone
• Assist with stock take / inventory counts process to ensure accurate inventory records are maintained
• Regularly check & create orders,
• Receipt goods & checking off paperwork while maintaining due diligence
• Loading/unloading customer vehicles
• Maintain operational equipment and report any faults or damage to management
• Record and report any customer complaints to the Trade Stores Manager regarding product and / or service via Knauf’s complaint and customer procedures
• General warehouse duties & house keeping
