Role Overview:
Our trading consulting team provides proactive, customized support to meet the needs of clients in the Capital Markets industry across the Americas. Murex trading consultants provide expert services in pre-sales, implementation, and production support.

Role Accountabilities:

  • Understand client business needs, communicate internally, gather feedback on potential solutions, test and deliver to the client, and follow up until deployment.
  • Act as the front office functional expert during Murex system implementation, which includes gathering requirements, configuration, and testing.
  • Provide technical and functional support services to clients.
  • Provide training on Murex system functionality to partners and users.
  • Participate in pre-sales activities, including preparing materials and providing presentation support.
  • Contribute to the internal product evolution stream.

To be successful in this role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline, such as Engineering or Financial Engineering.
  • Over 5 years of experience in capital market technology or financial markets, specifically related to trading, derivatives, forex, or similar areas.
  • Possess knowledge in banking, trading, derivatives, forex, and other financial areas, with a strong ability to learn and adapt within financial markets.
  • A fundamental knowledge of UNIX/LINUX and SQL is highly beneficial.
  • Outstanding problem-solving and consultative skills to understand client business challenges and explore their root causes.
  • Possesses exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the capability to present technical or functional information clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to deal independently and possess agility to deal with ambiguity
