JOB SUMMARY

Coordinates inbound and outbound transports of materials, components, and finished products.

SKILLS YOU WILL HAVE

Import/Export - MFG: Knowledge of issues, procedures, tools and practices of importing and exporting; ability to import and export goods to and from international locations.
Logistics Management: Knowledge of logistics and management; ability to follow proper processes and run operations for effective and efficient movement of materials and finished products.
Supply Chain Management - MFG : Knowledge of functions, principles and techniques used in supply chain management; ability to develop and use, strategies, practices and tools for controlling the logistical processes.
Transportation - MFG: Knowledge of transportation; ability to transport materials and goods to and from suppliers, distribution centers, manufacturing facilities and customers

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

• A bachelor’s in Logistics management will be beneficial
• 5 years in import and export
• Experience working with local authorities i.e. Dubai customs, Dubai Chambers and Trade
• Working with brokers and transportation companies will be desirable
• ERP knowledge SAP
• Proficiency in MS office suite including power BI
• Experience in a similar industry will be advantageous
• Must come from a customer-facing environment

• Updating shipping information. Producing and distributing activity reports.
• Maintaining records of the destination, weight, and charges for all incoming and outgoing freight; verifying rate charges.
• Keeping records on returns, damaged items, overcharges, and other problem shipments.
• Compiling schedules and notifying staff and customers of schedule changes.
