TRAFFIC CLERK

Edsal is seeking a Traffic Clerk to assist in the monitoring and management of all matters related to routing, shipping and receiving of inbound and outboard orders.
A successful Traffic Clerk should have excellent communication skills and be computer literate.

QUALITY ENGINEER REQUIREMENTS:

• HS Diploma or equivalent (GED) or combination of education and experience
• 2 years of administrative support experience, preferably in a Manufacturing environment
• Warehouse distribution experience a plus
• ERP experience a plus
• Ability to multi-task
• Strong time management and organizational skills

• Responsible for all aspects of routing, shipping, and logging of outbound and inbound orders
• Checking documents for accuracy
• Direct communication with customers and sales
• Contact carrier representatives to make arrangements or to issue instructions for shipping
• Process paperwork for inbound and outbound loads
• Ensure that all shipping and Receiving (BOL) documents are completed accurately and on time
• Compile and maintain records for inbound and outbound shipments
• Notify key team members of pending, no shows and or unscheduled arrivals
• Reschedule appointments if necessary
• Verify Shipments
