Description:

M&H Carriers are looking to recruit a administrative assistant to join our team in a well known and successful logistics company based in Aberdeen Altens.
The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, have great customer service skills, proven experience within an administration role or similar and thrive under pressure.
We at M&H Carriers aim for a team-orientated and friendly environment and strive to bring a sense of pride and ownership in what we do.

PREFERABLY WITH LOGISTICS EXPERIENCE IN ABERDEEN/SHIRE AREA .

Knowledge of the parcel/freight industry advantageous but not essential. Full training will be provided.

Responsibilities:

  • Prebrief and debrief of delivery drivers.
  • Booking in deliveries with customers.
  • Data entry
  • Ensuring day to day operations run efficiently as possible.
  • The use M&H Carriers database
  • Supporting the Traffic Manager
  • Answering telephone calls and dealing with customers / other carriers queries.
  • Basic admin tasks ie. photocopying scanning etc.
  • Some warehouse duties including bay checks and checking freight in.
