TRAFFIC PLANNER – HULL DEPOT

Humber Ports Logistics Ltd is one of the largest logistics companies in the Humber, with depots in Immingham & Hull. We are a modern and forward-thinking company but still pride ourselves on traditional company values.
Due to increased demand at our Hull Depot, we are looking for an experienced Traffic Planners to join our traffic team at our head office
As part of our busy Traffic team, you will be involved in daily planning of our busy fleet as well as ensuring that the company meets our customers’ needs and requirements.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

The successful candidate must have worked with a Transport Office for a minimum 2 years, along with excellent IT skills and must possess excellent organisational and time management skills.
TMCPC desirable but not essential.
We operate a 24/7 business within a fast-paced working environment; therefore, the candidate will need to be flexible to meet the operational needs of the business, including weekends and on call on a rota basis
The package offered is negotiable which will reflect the skills and experience of the successful candidate.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £30,000.00-£36,000.00 per year

Responsibilities:

· Assist transport manager with daily planning to ensure best vehicle & driver utilization.
· Work towards Fleet KPI’s set out by management.
· Liaise with customer services team to ensure that the company meet customers’ needs and requirements.
· Monitor and update our in-house Traffic management system.
· Maintain files and electronic records as required.
· Assist Transport Manager with Daily/weekly/monthly reports when required.
Assist Fleet manager to ensure that company vehicles are compliant and maintained within government guidelines.
