Responsibilities:
- Attend track calls
- Repair defect where possible
- Liaise with Wessex Integrated Control Centre (WICC)
- Compile formal reports detailing post incident / failure
- Provide Fleet Fitter cover at outstations during major events
- Review IT systems for defects and pro-actively monitor train defects and fix where appropriate
- Liaise with Station staff when necessary
- Obtain, use and care for and return all tools and equipment used
- Work effectively as part of a team
- Cover incident response turns at Waterloo
- Actively participate in the reporting of and logging of near misses.
- Liaise with Wessex Integrated Control Centre (WICC), station and depot staff when necessary.
- Undertake additional training to ensure business needs are met, as specified by their line manager.
- When requested you will carryout any MB3 work at any depot within the Fleet production London Area.
- Additional tasks as specified by local manager / supervisor.
- Principle accountabilities may differ from depot to depot and you will be required to sign the job description acknowledgement sheet.
