Job Purpose
The 3D Technical CAD Animator will work within our animation team and drawing office department responsible for creating various 2D/3D animations and other visualisation requests.
Job Description
Produce highly accurate technical animations of offshore engineering activities and installation sequences using various company assets.
Produce high quality 2D/3D renders, storyboards and other infographic visuals
Prepare and produce high quality 3Dmodels of engineering/offshore equipment and company assets from a variety of source data - GA drawings, laser scan data, sketches, photos
Prepare 3D scenes and carry out interface and technical clash checking for design reviews.
Liaise with draughtsman, engineers and surveyors to understand scopes of work and identify required deliverables.
Support and train other members of the team.

You are meant for this job if:
A degree or college qualification in computer animation OR equivalent related industry experience.
Good practical knowledge and experience of 3D animation using 3Ds Max.
Proficient in the use of the Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premier Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator)
Ability to work within a multi discipline design team across multiple projects.
Ability to organise, priorities and deliver work to deadlines set by management.
Good organisational and problem-solving skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
An enthusiastic individual that can work alone or collaboratively, often with multiple tasks under deadline pressure.
Suited to someone confident in working on their own projects from concept meeting through to project completion.

Autodesk 3Ds Max
Adobe Creative Suite - After Effects, Premier Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator
Chaos group Vray render engine and Phoenix FD ocean sim ideal
Experience within AutoCAD and Inventor would be advantageous although not essential.
Knowledge of the Oil and Gas Industry advantageous
