ABOUT THE ROLE

You will start your career at the NFU Mutual South Cotswolds Agency by gaining your licences in our Motor and Personal products and embedding these before gaining your commercial insurance product licence. You will be supported through this journey to develop your sales and customer service skills whilst taking inbound calls from customers and completing changes and new business quotes. You will also cross-sell other products to customers, including introducing our Financial Services offering which is delivered by a dedicated Financial Adviser. You will have a Personal Development Plan to ensure you are performing in line with the agency’s expectation, but this will be adapted to a pace and style that suits you.
As a commercial insurance account handler, you will provide an excellent standard of advice and service to a portfolio of commercial clients. You will primarily work alongside our agents and new business developers in managing client relationships throughout the year and be the first point of contact.
This role will be made for you if you are passionate about fostering relationships and helping clients find the right products to suit their needs. You will work independently and manage client requirements within the scope of a busy client book that spans across all business sectors and classes of commercial insurance. This will include client contact over the phone and in-person visits.
