As an Trainee Advanced Clinical Practitioner, you are expected to work in conjunction with the 4 pillars of advanced Practice (Health Education England Multi Professional Framework 2017)
Demonstrate expert clinical practice
Provide leadership and management in order to improve and transform services.
Engage and champion research through the application of existing research and contributing to new research within the chosen speciality.
Provide education and development of others, and actively seek this for yourself.
This is a training post and you will be supported in completing a clinical portfolio, providing evidence of the HEE capabilities for advanced clinical practice and speciality specific competencies in practice whilst working towards a recognised MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice. You will be supported by the ACP team and the Urology Consultants with clinical supervision provided.
Your clinical role will include undertaking 2 week wait clinics, requesting and reviewing imaging, performing precision point prostate biopsies, being an active member of the multidisciplinary team meetings and providing results to patients. You will work within an ACP led service, which is supported by our consultant body
