Trainee (Assistant Legal Counsel)

What you will do:

  • Provide legal guidance and support in the given area after initial consultation with other member of the team
  • Support other members of the team in provision of legal guidance and support, especially to Global Functions and GSC
  • Perform searches on in the legal doctrine and jurisprudence on the given topics
  • Identify legal risks connected with HBPL activities, therein for agreements with thirds parties, performing compliance reviews and participation in internal projects
  • Assist General Counsel in creation of various report to be send to respective stakeholders
  • Create legal alerts on local and European legislation

In this role you will:

  • Provide information with regard to legal risks arising in jobholder’s area of expertise.
  • Create drafts of templates of the documents can use in day-to-day business.
  • Suggest legal constructions which can make HBPL activities more competitive.
  • Provide prompt, commercial, practical and high quality legal guidance on simple matters.
  • Advise internal customers promptly of material legal developments and their implications
  • Ensure the Head of Legal and Regulatory Line, is fully briefed on major issues arising in relevant business area and major legislative changes in area of expertise

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master in Law
  • Up-to-date knowledge of developments in own industry sector
  • Fluent English
  • Able to handle a diverse range of issues
  • Self-starter, independent with good organizational skills
  • Communication and inter-personal skills
  • Lateral thinking/problem solving
