Description:
Bradford District and Craven Talking Therapies Service are looking for candidates with:
Degree level qualification (relevant mental health subject is preferable)
or
Core Profession Qualification
or
Low Intensity CBT Qualification (PWP), with 2 years post qualification experience (from the date of the qualifying exam board) as of 16/10/24
to join our team as a Trainee Cognitive Behavioural Therapist.
Successful candidates will work within the Talking Therapies service, providing high intensity interventions whilst undertaking the 12 month Post-Graduate Diploma in High Intensity Psychological Interventions training course at University of Sheffield.
Successful applicants will attend training with the University two days a week. The course is expected to begin on or around 04/03/25 and is delivered in person at University of Sheffield. There is, therefore, an expectation that all successful candidates will be able to travel to Sheffield for teaching 2 days per week for the duration of the 12 month course. Upon successful training completion, trainees will meet criteria to apply for provisional accreditation as a CBT therapist with the BABCP.
