The Trainee Coordinator, Onboarding will support the onboarding team in ensuring a smooth and efficient transition for new hires into the organization. This role offers a valuable opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience in HR, specifically in onboarding and employee experience. The trainee will assist in organizing and coordinating the onboarding process, helping new employees feel welcomed and informed from their first day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing and organizing onboarding materials, including welcome packets, company policies, and new hire documentation.
- Coordinate new hire orientation schedules and ensure all necessary onboarding steps are completed on time.
- Communicate with new employees to guide them through the onboarding process, answering any questions and providing support as needed.
- Work closely with HR, IT, and other departments to ensure a smooth setup of workstations, email accounts, and access to necessary systems.
- Assist in collecting and verifying required employee documents, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Maintain onboarding records and track the progress of new hires throughout their initial weeks.
- Provide administrative support to the onboarding team, including data entry, scheduling, and preparing reports.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or currently pursuing).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on providing a positive new hire experience.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Prior experience or internships in HR or onboarding is a plus, but not required.
