Description:
Are you someone who is career-driven and money-motivated?
Do you have experience being on the phone in a previous role, or do you have the willingness and energy to be on the phone for the majority of your working day?
Can you begin a full-time position as soon as possible?
Here, at The Supply Room, we are looking for determined and dynamic Trainee Education Recruitment Consultant to join our Bristol office and help further expand the team!
As a company, we are almost 8 years old and since starting out in London, have gone on to build 3 new offices from scratch in Bournemouth, Bristol and Nottingham.
All of our offices are now managed by former Education Recruitment Consultants who joined us with no experience but had the right mindset and work ethic to be successful.
We are looking for a candidate who is competent with IT skills, has attention to detail, but most importantly, can be persuasive and persistent on the phone to both clients (schools) and candidates (Teaching Assistants & Teachers etc.).
You will be allocated an area to cover as an Education Recruitment Consultant, supporting local primary, secondary and specialist schools with their staffing needs (both short-term/supply and long-term/permanent recruitment).
Your responsibilities will include posting job adverts, reviewing CVs to call, making registration calls to prospective candidates, completing background checks, creating marketing profiles and speaking to your schools on the phone or via email about your candidates.
Therefore, this is a role where self-administration and organisation is crucial, and being on the phone constantly to fast-track as many things as possible is very important.
The working hours are full-time (40 hours across the week), working either a 7am to 4pm shift or a 9am to 6pm shift.
The office is located in Bristol’s city centre, by College Green and Bristol Cathedral – it has excellent public transport links.
We have a very competitive pay package (basic salary plus commission) and career ladder, as well as offering performance bonuses throughout the year.
The company benefits include 23 days of annual leave (plus an additional 5 days at Christmas and New Year outside of that allowance), a day off on your Birthday, 1 work from home day each week once you have successfully passed probation and unlimited work from home days (plus reduced hours) during all of the school holidays!
You are also entitled to a free gym membership and one 2-hour lunch break each week as part of this role. We host company-wide summer and Christmas party events where we host an awards ceremony.
If you believe you have what it takes to excel in this role, and be the perfect fit for our ever-growing company, then please apply with your CV below!
