POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a Trainee / Junior Audio Visual Technician to join our regional team based near Derby. This is an entry-level, full-time position ideal for individuals passionate about audio-visual technology and eager to learn. You will support the Midlands region, covering Leicester, Birmingham, Derby, and Sheffield, with occasional opportunities to assist with Nationwide and European events. We provide comprehensive training to help you develop the necessary skills and knowledge for a successful career in the audio-visual industry. All we ask is that you bring enthusiasm, a willingness to learn, and a genuine interest in this field.

• Equipment Preparation: Preparation, scanning, testing, and loading audio-visual equipment into vehicles.
• Event Support: Deliver, install, and operate a wide range of AV equipment for live, virtual, and hybrid events.
• Technical Assistance: Assist in diagnosing and reporting equipment faults and provide technical advice and support to clients and team members.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct basic vehicle maintenance and ensure cleanliness.
• Warehouse Assistance: Support warehouse duties as needed.
