JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented person with a strong grounding in Mathematical subjects, early AAT qualifications either with or without a degree to train as a Legal Cashier/Finance Administrator supplementing our current team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions within a legal environment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations. This role is pivotal in maintaining the integrity of the firm’s financial records and supporting the overall financial operations. It is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking an career in the world of finance. The firm will encourage and support you to attain AAT, ILFM or other qualifications.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Highly proficient in Mathematical subjects.
  • Proficiency in I.T. able to use Microsoft Products, Word, Excel, Outlook etc. experience of Xero, or Sage is highly desirable.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong communication skills.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities:

  • Process accounts payable transactions efficiently and accurately.
  • Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions using accounting software such as LEAP, Xero, or Sage.
  • Prepare and reconcile bank statements on a regular basis to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements as required.
  • Liaise with clients and vendors regarding payment queries and discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with legal regulations and internal policies related to financial transactions.
  • Support the finance team with ad-hoc tasks as needed to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Full Training and supervision from our vastly experienced team supplied for all tasks.
