Salon Equipment Centre provide furniture to salons and barber shops all over the UK. We are a small and hard working family run company established in 1993, who aim to provide an excellent choice of hair, beauty and barber furniture to customers, without compromise on customer service.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Marketing Department and are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, energetic, creative person who wants to work as part of a team in a busy, fast-paced environment. We will commit 100% to your training and development so dedication to learn is essential.
This role will be ideal for an individual with an interest in social media, graphic design or marketing. You will be involved in a range of marketing projects including social media, showroom design and website design and admin. Being a small team the role is incredibly varied, you will be involved in a whole range of exciting marketing projects and campaigns.
Full training will be provided.

DESIRABLE SKILLS (NOT ESSENTIAL):

• Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop/Illustrator/InDesign/Premiere Pro)
• Photography
• A familiarity with the Google Analytics, Google Ads or SEO.
  Salary is negotiable dependent on experience. The working hours for this role are Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm
  Immediate start available.

• Ability to prioritise workloads.
• Confidence and personality required to speak to customers over the phone and in the showroom

• Creating engaging and creative social media content to promote products or marketing campaigns.
• Increase number of followers across all social media platforms, increasing brand awareness and customer engagement.
• Using Adobe Photoshop and InDesign to create promotional material (training provided) including magazine adverts, brochures and leaflets.
• Making sure the website is kept up-to-date by adding and promoting new product lines.
• Answering the telephones.
• Meeting and greeting customers.
