INTRODUCTION
We are looking for someone ambitious and proactive to join our team of Claimant motor injury paralegals. The candidate should enjoy talking to real people to gain an understanding of how they have been impacted by an accident, gaining information to understand their circumstances, and using their legal training to help them. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wishes to use their legal knowledge to provide practical advice to clients and gain invaluable experience of providing legal advice in a fast paced and varied client facing role.
The role will be hybrid, you will be based in our Bristol Queen Square offices twice weekly and from home. The successful candidate must have the ability to work from home.
We encourage our people to have a great work life balance, so as a full-time employee, you would only be expected to work 35 hours per week!
Responsibilities:
The role will involve using our case management systems to manage Claimant Personal Injury claims through all stages both pre and post litigation. You will need to comply with agreed service level agreements and will also be responsible for administration tasks as required.
The role involves providing clear, concise legal advice to people from a variety of backgrounds.
You will be taking inbound calls from clients and making outbound calls to proactively assist the team in managing their caseloads.
As a Trainee Paralegal you will be required to learn how to be an effective claims handler and advisor; research and improve your legal knowledge and build on your communication skills on an ongoing basis. You would therefore be expected to keep your legal knowledge up-to-date and attend relevant training as and when needed. You will be encouraged to share information, knowledge, and experience with colleagues in a supportive environment.
