Description:

Blithe House Financial Management are offering this exciting opportunity for a Trainee Paraplanner to join our growing, knowledgeable team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the existing Paraplanner and the wider team in all aspects of technical research & report writing. This position requires strong organisational and communication skills, a keen eye for detail and proficiency in IT applications, including Microsoft Word and Outlook.
We are looking for a highly organised, proactive and enthusiastic person, with good attention to detail. It is also essential that candidate is a team player, has a flexible and thorough approach with the ability to prioritise their workload. The ideal candidate will have a desire to gain industry recognised qualifications such as the Diploma in Financial Planning.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Ideally 1+ years’ experience within a financial advisory practice.
  • You will have a desire to work towards Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning qualified and ideally would have already started your journey to gain full qualification.
  • Experience of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook – good and accurate keyboard skills.
  • Excellent organisational abilities with a focus on time management to meet deadlines effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise effectively with clients and team members.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

· Providing support to the existing Paraplanner and Financial Advisers within the team

  • Prepare financial reports and documentation.
  • Liaise with providers to ensure all work is completed efficiently and accurately to maintain our high standards.
  • Undertaking product and fund research and identify suitable solutions to meet client’s needs.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure all documentation is compliant with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency within the office.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes affecting financial planning services.
