Trainee Process Technician

Staff365 are recruiting for a Trainee Process Technician on a permanent basis for our new client located in Tankersley, Barnsley.
Our client is looking to expand their existing team and this would be an excellent opportunity for someone to grow their career within the business with plenty of training provided.
We are keen to speak with candidates who already have some experience of working within either an engineering or manufacturing environment, or with anybody with the attitude to learn and grow in to a role that offers long term career prospects.

REQUIREMENTS

• Computer skills are required
• Very good level of English and maths
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Working both as an individual and as part of a small team
• Previous experience of using guillotine, bandsaw and sheers would be advantageous
• Welding or plasma cutting experience advantageous

• Processing and inspecting materials
• Stock control and updating of the system
• Manual handling and lifting
• General Housekeeping
• Moving materials around the facility
• Entering Data into internal system
