The role of Trainee Product Designer will be based at our ACE Winches facility in Turriff, with impressive state-of-the-art facilities all powered by wind.
ACE Winches is now part of Ashtead Technology. Together we continue to strengthen our product and service offerings for oil & gas and offshore renewables.

This is a great opportunity for a recent Product Design graduate or a Product Designer with an interest in mechanical design, looking to make a move into the Energy industry!

Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING;
As Trainee Product Designer, you will be responsible for creating high quality 3D CAD models and technical drawings, to support the Drawing Office team, and the wider business.
Day to day you’ll be involved in;
- Producing 3D models which accurately reflect product properties and functional requirements.
- Generating high-quality technical drawings to support all aspects of the business.
- Checking models/drawings produced by other drawing office members.
- Ensuring that all produced models and drawings meet the relevant industry and company standards.
- Delivering models and drawings in-line with agreed timescales/schedules.
- Ensuring that all drawing office systems/resources are being utilised appropriately.
