Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

Ashtead Technology are looking for a Trainee Project Engineer to join the team at our Fintray facility - this is a fantastic opportunity for those looking to begin their career in project engineering.
You will work closely with experienced engineers and project managers, gaining hands-on experience and developing the skills needed to thrive in this dynamic field.

Day to day you’ll be involved in:

  • Providing technical support for projects & clients / offshore personnel in support of projects
  • Preparing of project documentation – technical manuals, FAT procedures etc.
  • Preparing equipment annual certification – DNV Requirements, Lifting Certification & Calibrations
  • Providing support during client equipment demos & attending client meetings as and when required
  • Purchasing of parts / materials for projects ensuring delivery schedules meet project timescales
  • Preparing and testing equipment for hire / sale as and when required
  • Maintaining project schedules ensuring any changes are promptly addressed
  • Providing support with project logistics
  • Providing final quality control checks
  • Assisting operations on a day-to-day basis, including workshop and yard activities on occasion
