Main purpose of job: We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee QA Technician to join our quality assurance team. As a Trainee QA Technician, you will gain hands-on experience and develop your skills through a structured training program. Location/Branch: Dartford (maybe some travel to other locations)
Position reports to: Compliance Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Learn to identify and troubleshoot defects in PCBs, employing systematic approaches to fault finding.
  • Gain practical skills in soldering for surface mount components, understanding the intricacies of handling and placing delicate components on PCBs.
  • Electrical and electronic product testing to ensure that the product meets the requirements of technical specifications.
  • Perform administrative tasks crucial to the QA department’s operations, including the preparation of detailed observation reports.
  • Processing of customer returned products from receipt through to final resolution to the customer’s satisfaction.
  • Acquire knowledge about our business operations, focusing on the standards and procedures the QA department adheres to, ensuring compliance and quality excellence.
  • Work collaboratively as part of the QA team, supporting departmental objectives and contributing to the wider business goals.
  • Attend team meetings and contribute to discussions with fresh ideas and perspectives.
  • Follow safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment.
