Description:

HEJ SOFTWARE DEVELOPER, QUESTIONING EVERYTHING? IKEA HAS THE PERFECT JOB FOR YOU.

Are you ready to touch lives and living rooms all over the world? IKEA is looking for a Software Developer trainee who isn’t afraid to think outside the box. Working with us is all about adding value, playfully challenging everything, and finding new ways to improve lives.
At IKEA, we do things a little differently. We like to break things (like rules) and make things (like planet-friendly plantballs). We dare to try, and we dare to fail. And above all else, we are driven by our shared vision – to create a better everyday life for the many people. If our culture speaks to your heart, we would love to hear from you!
Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field and/or 1-2 years of work experience within the field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a knack for understanding business processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of intelligent automation.
  • Basic understanding of programming languages like Python, Java, or NET and knowledge of automation tools and frameworks (e.g. UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere) is a merit.
  • Prior internship or project experience in software development, test automation or Intelligent Automation is a plus.
  • A wish to grow with IKEA and to help millions of people look forward to going home
