JOB DESCRIPTION

Our trainee programme is a unique entry point into the world of renewables. During your time as a trainee, you will work on some of the toughest challenges within the energy sector, collaborate with some of the smartest minds in the industry, be offered world-class development and learning opportunities and be part of an exclusive network of ambitious young talents from across the world. You will also get the opportunity to apply for a seat on our CEO-led Future Board initiative – an advisory board made up of trainees and young professionals at Statkraft. QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for recent graduates who are motivated to join us in leading the green energy transition. Below are some qualifications we believe are beneficial as a trainee at Statkraft:

  • Master’s degree within relevant area, e.g. business, economy, engineering or science
  • No more than one year of work experience post education (excluding internships/part-time jobs)
  • Strong and proven ability to collaborate with others and work as a team player
  • Curious and open minded towards different tasks and work environments
  • Open to relocate during your trainee program for a period of 6 months
  • Fluency in English is required (other European languages are an asset)

  • Trainee Program Start Date: September 1st 2025
