We have an exciting role for a Trainee Tax Assistant in our Stratford upon Avon office
A fantastic opportunity for a motivated school/ college leaver to kick start your career in tax, joining an apprenticeship scheme, you will be working towards an internationally recognised tax qualification (ATT) whilst gaining valuable on-the-job experience with a highly respected accountancy firm.
You will join a dynamic tax team with a high quality client base and rapidly gain responsibility whilst at the same time completing your qualifications with us.

Key responsibilities of a Trainee Tax Assistant will include:

  • helping to prepare tax returns for individuals and partnerships
  • assisting on tax projects by collating information, completing forms and other documentation with individual/company information
  • preparing and filing statutory documentation for companies
  • liaising with HM Revenue and Customs and other third parties as required
  • completing ad hoc administration for the tax department, as required
  • responsible for complying with all internal procedures, including Anti Money-Laundering
