DESCRIPTION OF BUSINESS LINE

This is a full time 11 month fixed term contract opportunity to work directly with our market leading TMT Corporate Finance team that will provide an exceptional grounding in all aspects of advisory and capital raising activities, while also offering the chance to work alongside other product areas within the Bank.
The team works with a mix of corporate and financial sponsor clients across the full spectrum of the TMT sector, where we have established long-term relationships. Part of a global offering out of London the focus is primarily on UK, Germany, The Netherlands and Scandinavia, while also covering the rest of the CEEMEA region and working closely with colleagues from the US and Asia on any cross-boarder deals.

EXPERIENCE / COMPETENCIES REQUIRED

  • Good understanding of M&A and Equity Capital Markets
  • Financial modelling and analysis skills – must be able to create DCF and provide company valuation analysis
  • Strong computing skills across all Office applications
  • Demonstrable interest in the TMT sector
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work well within a team and deliver under challenging conditions

Responsibilities:

KEY PURPOSES & RESPONSIBILITIES OF ROLE

  • Monitoring on TMT Sector Trends
  • Preparing market updates and presentations
  • Assisting in the origination of deals by creating financial models / performing company valuations (M&A multiples and DCF) as well as pitch-books and other marketing materials
  • Conduct research and due diligence on clients, industries and specific situations that can be used in dialogue internally and with our client base
  • Analysis of M&A activity, identifying trends and analysing metrics
  • Assist the team on the execution of deals
