Due to growth and opportunity in our Learning & Development space, WesTrac is seeking Trainee Trainers to join our team at the WesTrac Institute, located in South Guildford, WA. There are various areas of specialised training in the WesTrac Institute, including Apprentice Training, Post-Trade Training, and Technology Training.

These newly established roles are an exciting opportunity to further your existing automotive or plant/machinery trade knowledge and experience, or technology operations experience, joining a team of experienced and qualified Trainers, and working in an industry leading organisation. As part of these roles WesTrac will;

  • Provide all training, including the Certificate 4 in Training & Assessment (where relevant), as well as developing your skills in areas such as managing classroom expectations and student management.
  • Ensure Trainee Trainers undergo a Professional Development process, in which they will be mentored by industry experienced Trainers, as well as having access to leadership support and coaching.
  • Provide you with the opportunity to develop and mentor the future generations of apprentices and/or tradespersons, whilst benefiting from being in a role that provides great work/life balance.
  • Offer roles that include either being Perth based, working 7.00am - 3.30pm on a Monday to Friday roster, and also Technology Training roles on an 8:6 day shift only roster.
  • The exciting opportunity to join a reputable team with a wide range of customers, utilising an abundance of industry current training resources.

For the Apprentice Training positions it is essential that you hold a qualification in the scope of either Auto-Electrical, Mobile Plant or Heavy Vehicle, Light Vehicle, or other relevant Australian Automotive Trade qualification.
Roster: This role is open to full-time, part-time and casual candidates.
