As a Software Support Trainer - Project Management within Pomerleau’s Innovation Division, you will embody the role of resource person by providing training and support to users. Working on large-scale construction projects - ranging from $1.5 million to over $1 billion - you’ll be responsible for measuring the transfer of learning, as well as supporting project teams in the use of software for project execution.

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Actively collaborate in the preparation of training content;
  • Provide a monthly training calendar;
  • Lead employee training sessions on systems used, including CMiC, Procore, SmartUse and others;
  • Conduct internal checklists to identify and support teams requiring additional coaching and training;
  • Keep abreast of system changes and updates, and keep training up to date;
  • Be able to handle several problems at once on different projects, in both French and English;
  • Train people with little or no basic computer knowledge.

THIS ROLE COULD BE FOR YOU IF YOU HAVE

  • A college diploma in administration or office automation;
  • Mastery of the Microsoft Office suite;
  • Strong analytical skills, autonomy and thoroughness;
  • A keen interest in training, and an ability to explain material and pass on knowledge;
  • Openness to teamwork and collaboration with departments;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

Additional assets

  • 1 to 3 years’ professional experience as a trainer or a combination of knowledge and experience in the construction industry;
  • Mobility within your region;
  • Knowledge of CMiC (ERP), Procore, SmartUse and HCSS software.
