We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated and engaging (non-accredited) Training Advisor to join the team on a full time basis. This dynamic role involves you working in the Career Transition Assistance Program (CTA) which supports mature-aged job seekers to build confidence and develop skills to change career or obtain a competitive edge in the local labour market. You will also be responsible for delivering JobLab activities across the two sites. JobLab is ETC’s non-accredited training program.
The role is based in our Kippa Ring and Caboolture office and regular travel will be required across the beautiful Somerset region.
Responsibilities:
THE ROLE - A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A TRAINING ADVISOR
As a (non-accredited) Training Advisor you will leverage your experience to deliver training in an accessible, fun and practical way that connects with a diverse audience. You will engage with participants to help them identify their strengths and capabilities and support them to develop the skills and behaviours to become ‘job-ready’ and obtain employment. This is done through facilitation of targeted training and workshops and provision of assistance with resume preparation and the career transition process.
Salary - $64,000 – $71,000 per annum + Super + leave loading
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE;
- Conduct CTA programs in group training settings
- Help participants develop skills for sustainable employment
- Promote the program to providers and engage potential participants
- Build and maintain stakeholder relationships
- Provide excellent customer service to all participants and stakeholders
- Ensure the CTA program meets compliance requirements and contractual obligations
- Effectively influence and negotiate with stakeholders and manage time management
- Stay informed about the local labour market and the Employment Services Industry
