Join the Close Brothers Asset Finance & Leasing (CBAFL) team where you will ensure our employees in customer facing roles have the confidence and required expertise to perform their roles effectively and ethically. The primary responsibility is to develop and manage the training and competency scheme (T&C Scheme).
Working as part of the Business Engagement team, based in Wimbledon, our ideal team member will have previous experience in managing a T&C Scheme and will possess excellent communication skills.

IT IS NOT ESSENTIAL BUT IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU:

  • Have experience managing a Training Competency Scheme
  • Are experienced at setting competency objectives
  • Posses an Internal Verifier qualification and / or External Verifier qualification

Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of the T&C scheme and work with business subject matter experts (SMEs) to expand the scheme to cover all customer facing roles
  • Implementing tools for monitoring learning completion to include new or updated standard operating procedures
  • Train, coach and support those responsible for ensuring employees remain competent, to provide them with the skills and knowledge needed to perform observation and give effective feedback
  • Introducing a standard method for capturing assessment outputs and individual action plans
  • Working with the Product and Data teams to develop reporting for T&C scheme training, observation completion rates and findings
  • Work with the Governance team to identify potential training needs or knowledge gaps.
  • Develop Key Risk Indicators, for senior managements oversight of T&C scheme outcomes
