Description:
JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Training Coordinator to join our team Quality Assurance Team. Reporting to the Manager of Quality Assurance, the Training Coordinator will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining training programs to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements. This role involves creating curriculums, assessing training needs, certifying employees, and maintaining a training matrix. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a passion for training and development, the ability to collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to deliver effective training programs and the ability to execute end-to-end programs in a timely and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
- Understanding of instructional design, and proficiency in various learning management systems (LMS)
- Proven experience in training coordination, curriculum development, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in using eQMS software (Veeva) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in training development methodologies and instructional design principles.
- Familiarity with project management techniques to oversee various training initiatives.
- Competence in content development using tools like Adobe Captivate for e-learning modules.
- Ability to facilitate classroom settings effectively, encouraging interaction among participants.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Certification in training and development (e.g., CPTD, CPLP, CPHR) is a plus.
- Experience in a regulated industry (e.g., cannabis, pharmaceuticals, food, manufacturing).
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and ISO standards.
- Previous Supervisory or Managerial duties
