Our Eastern Region’s Brisbane Office is seeking an Internal Training Coordinator to successfully lead, develop and deliver theoretical and hands on technical training to our large team of apprentices, electricians, technicians, and engineers.
The role is on a full-time permanent basis, liaising closely with and seeking direction from the Training and Development Lead (based in W.A.), and the Regional General Manager.

EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE:

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Training Coordinator or similar role, delivering successful training outcomes.
Strong technical background in the electrical field.
High Voltage testing experience highly regarded.
Able to effectively plan, organise and direct the completion of internal training.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong understanding of HSE requirements and legislation.
Strong understanding of Quality requirements and standards.
Exceptional time management and organizational skills
Demonstrated leadership skills.
Competent with Microsoft 365 Office Suite

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Electrical Trade background or Electrical Engineering.
  • Diploma or Cert IV Trainer/Assessor desirable.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the maintenance and creation of e-training modules, standard work procedures.
  • Researching, analysing, and explaining factual information sources.
  • Work with subject matter experts to develop training material.
  • Effectively schedule and deliver theoretical and hands on technical training to staff.
  • Maintain training records in employees’ files and/or HR management system.
  • Assist with training status and progress reporting.
  • Assist with tender responses relating to internal training.
  • Align training material and programs to meet training needs.
  • Liaise with the Training and Development Lead and Regional General Manager on setting training priorities.

  • Assist with the development of competency assessment systems.
  • Ensure compliance with current legislation, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Build strong rapport with all internal stakeholders, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards.
