Description:
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Assists in preparing for and delivering training to end users. Assists other training staff in developing, validating, modifying and maintaining training content, lesson plans, manuals, presentations, self-study modules, and supportive learning tools utilized in training classes. Co-facilitates the delivery of online or classroom training presentations, demonstrations, workshops and training sessions for end-users on a variety of topics and application systems, tools and modules. Prepares learning classroom and sets up equipment, seating arrangement, curricula and supplies for training sessions.
Job Description:
Travel to other training sites across the system is required as a part of this role.
EDUCATION:
Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Education, Healthcare Management, Information Technology, or related field
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
Understanding of adult learning concepts.
Proficient with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, or Word and with technical application systems.
Ability to work in a collaborative, learning environment and produce work or adhere to goals and objectives for a group or individual.
Strong oral presentation and written communication skills and training ability.
Use basic English words and phrases to effectively and clearly organize and communicate thoughts, ideas and technical details in a concise manner easily understood by all audiences.
Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with audiences across all areas and levels within Sutter Health as well as external organizations.
Analyze information, problems, situations, practices, or procedures in order to identify patterns, tendencies, and relationships resulting in the formulation of logical and objective conclusions.
Set priorities which accurately reflect the relative importance of job responsibilities and prioritize assignments to complete work in a timely manner.
Focus on customer service that informs all actions and decisions.
Comfortable learning from a variety of formal and informal educational environments and methods.
