Description:
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Identify training needs within the workforce.
- Developing and implementing departmental training programs to enhance team member skills and knowledge.
- Providing coaching and mentoring to team members to support their professional growth.
- Evaluating the effectiveness of training programs and making adjustments as needed.
- Collaborating with mangers to assess staffing needs and create workforce plans.
- Developing strategies to attract, retain, and develop talent within the organization.
- Creating and managing team member schedules to ensure adequate coverage.
- Monitoring and adjusting schedules to accommodate changes in business needs.
- Establishing performance goals and objectives for team members.
- Identifying opportunities for performance improvement and implementing development plans.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree with a focus on Human Resources, Organizational Learning and Development, or closely related field.
- Minimum (3) years of experience in conducting in-person training within a human resource department.
- Experience working with diverse groups and implementing training programs to ensure operation efficiency.
WORK REQUIREMENTS:
Requires problem solving skills, interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively, operate a desktop computer. Position involves prolonged sitting, standing or walking, stooping or bending, lifting, or carrying up to 30 pounds on a daily basis. Work is performed in an office or casino environment with varying levels of lighting, air quality, noise, and / or temperature
Responsibilities:
This position will be involved with optimizing the workforce productivity and operational efficiency by effectively managing staffing levels, scheduling, and talent development.
