THE OPPORTUNITY

Stratco is seeking an experienced Training Lead to play a pivotal role in a major ERP implementation. As the Training Lead, you will be responsible for leading the project training program and identifying best practice training techniques to embed new systems and technology.
This company-wide role is based in our Adelaide head office but will require some travel to other locations across Australia and New Zealand. You will be an excellent communicator and skilled at engaging people at all levels of the organisation. You will have a strong attention to detail and be able to understand complex processes. Your proficiency in practical end-user training, including strong interpersonal skills across a broad range of user levels, will be vital to the success of this role. Additionally, you will have hands-on experience with online learning management systems, and prior experience with Oracle Guided Learning and/or Articulate e-learning will be advantageous.
The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing the overall training strategy, which involves reviewing and assessing the training plan, materials and programs to ensure that they are effective, accurate, and meet the desired outcomes. This process includes identifying any potential gaps or weaknesses in the training materials or programs and making necessary adjustments to ensure that they are comprehensive and effective.
As the Training Lead, you will shape and guide a business-wide training strategy post-project. With the staged deployment of the project, there is potential to progressively establish and implement an overall Training Strategy that aligns with the long-term goals of the business.
As the Training Lead, you will be highly organised and able to deliver to tight deadlines. You will have exemplary quality standards and a keen interest in navigating problems to find solutions and drive continuous improvement.

ABOUT YOU

  • At least 5 years’ experience in delivering training initiatives
  • Experience in major change initiatives and transformation
  • Professional qualifications in change or training delivery strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills across all levels of an organization
  • Experience in delivering process or technology change initiatives
  • Experience in ERP systems and Articulate e-learning software will be highly regarded

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Training function for the project and beyond
  • Assess and execute the Project training roadmap
  • Identify best practice, multi-mode training channels
  • QA and review training needs, identifying best practice strategies
  • Deliver training sessions to end-users, including Train the Trainer for SMEs and Super Users
  • Monitor and report on training adherence and progress
  • Monitor and report on training risks and identify and proactively execute mitigation strategies
