POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Director of Learning and Development to lead our organization’s training strategies. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing, implementing, and managing comprehensive training programs that enhance employee skills, drive performance improvement, and foster professional growth.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, Business, or related field.
  • 3+ years proven experience in designing and implementing learning and development programs.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design, and e-learning technologies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable improvements.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with training software, learning management systems (LMS), and digital learning tools.
  • Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in learning and development.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a learning and development strategy that aligns with SERVPRO’s business goals and ensures a continuous learning culture.
  • Program Design and Development: Design, implement, and oversee a range of training programs, including onboarding, technical skills, leadership development, soft skills, compliance training, and more, catering to various employee levels and job functions.
  • Training Content Creation: Collaborate with subject matter experts to create engaging and impactful training materials, utilizing a mix of multimedia resources, e-learning platforms, workshops, seminars, and virtual learning environments.
  • Needs Assessment: Collaborate with field leadership, corporate department heads, executives, and other teams to identify skills gaps and training requirements, staying attuned to industry trends and best practices.
  • Vendor Management: Evaluate and manage relationships with external training vendors, e-learning platforms, consultants, and other partners to ensure high-quality, cost-effective training solutions.
  • Metrics and Evaluation: Establish KPIs to measure the effectiveness of training programs, track progress, and analyze data to make improvements.
  • Change Management: Facilitate the implementation of new processes, technologies, or changes within the organization through comprehensive training initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions.
  • Compliance and Regulations: Ensure that all training programs are in line with industry regulations, legal requirements, and compliance standards.
