Position Description: The Training Manager will identify and monitor training needs in the organization, and assist with the designing, planning, and implementation of training programs, policies, and procedures to fulfill those needs.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with graphic design ability
Proficient understanding of training processes with ability to evaluate options and alternatives
Proficient with Microsoft Office products, computer skills, and/or related software
Adept technology/skill to include navigation of a variety of training platforms and methods
Extremely detail-oriented with excellent organization and time management skills
Competent ability to moderate group training when necessary
Ability to function well in a high-paced environment with time sensitive deadlines
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Associates/bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in HR or related field/area required
- Demonstrated ability of two to five years’ experience with training in an individual and/or group setting
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Prolonged periods of working in an office setting on a computer and/or phone as needed.
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds at times.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily activities of training associates and vendors.
- Conducts training evaluations and suggestions that are timely and constructive.
- Monitors and maintains our company training database.
- Reviews existing training programs; suggests modifications for improvement, engagement, learning, and retention to meet the changing needs of the organization or industry.
- Ensures that training materials and programs are current, accurate, and effective to the best of our industry standards.
- Maintains knowledge of new methods for training, as well as training requirements applicable to our organization and industry.
- Identifies opportunities such as operational changes or industry development that training could improve.
- Facilitates or conducts required and recommended training sessions and/or classes.
- Collaborates with vendors and third-party training providers to arrange employee registration and participation in external training programs.
- Ensures that training goals are met while adhering to an approved training expenses budget.
- Assist with preparation and implementation of a training budget.
- Assist with annual Training and Development needs assessment.
- Assist in further development of training plans, programs, and career paths.
