REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be a US or Australian Citizen
  • Must possess a US TS/SCI with Polygraph or AUS PV Clearance.
  • Must have a minimum of five years of training management experience.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to Detail: Precision and attention to detail to ensure high-quality service delivery and compliance with safety standards.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing conditions, technologies, and requirements.
  • Decision-Making Ability: Strong decision-making skills to resolve issues quickly and effectively under pressure.
    This role will be located in Alice Springs. This position is expected to be onsite 100%.

Responsibilities:

In the role of Training Manager, your duties will include:

  • Collaborates with department heads and HR to identify individual development needs and goals for employees.
  • Designs and implements customized training programs and learning initiatives to address the specific development needs of employees.
  • Monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of individual development programs, making adjustments as necessary to ensure continuous improvements.
  • Provides guidance and support to employees in creating and implementing their individual development plans.
  • Tracks and reports on the progress of individual development programs, highlighting achievements and areas for improvement.
  • Works closely with senior management to identify key positions and talent within the organization for succession planning.
  • Develops and implements succession planning strategies and initiatives to ensure a pipeline of qualified and capable employees for future leadership roles.
  • Identifies high-potential employees and creates tailored development plans to prepare them for advancement opportunities.
  • Facilitates leadership development programs and mentoring opportunities to groom future leaders within the organization.
  • Regularly reviews and updates succession plans to align with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Develops and implements an annual training plan in line with the Business Plan.
  • Manages the Training and Development budget to ensure its most effective use
  • Develops and delivers training and development programs to ensure that employees have the capabilities to achieve the Business Plan.
  • Measures the effectiveness of training events to determine return on investment.
  • Identifies, supports, and develops trainers to ensure their effective transfer of skills, knowledge, and behaviors.
