Description:
We are looking for a passionate and talented fish to join The People Team in all things Training!
The role will be based in restaurants to support during operational hours. We are looking for a creative leader with training experience and passion for excellence
SKILLS AND BEHAVIOURS
- Proven experience in a Learning and Development role within hospitality (Operations background desirable)
- Hands on approach. Working with our teams in our restaurants.
- Passion for people development and a deep understanding of hospitality standards.
- Excellent facilitation, coaching, and presentation skills.
- Strong knowledge of digital learning tools and platforms.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with diverse teams.
- Creativity and adaptability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Induct and train new fish to Sticks’n’Sushi standards
- To support, coach and develop our Senpais to maintain our DNA and high standards at all times
- Proactively checking Guest Satisfaction scores and Mystery Diner reports on a regular basis to utilise the tool in seeking service improvement across the team.
- Implement monthly Service Action Plan in agreement with the Operation Managers.
- Being an ambassador for the brand, our beliefs and values by leading by example within the team
- Strive to Kaizen yourself and your team to continuously learn and improve
- Work closely with the Learning & Development manager on our MIT program:
- Take charge of Management in Training (MIT) programs designed for internal and external managers to develop future leaders and drive excellence in management practices.
- Champion Apprenticeships:
- Act as a champion for apprenticeships by leveraging initiatives such as The Levi to create opportunities for skills development and career growth across the organization.
- Take charge of Intro Class amongst other classes and training tools
