TRAINING PLANNER

Location: Milton Keynes/Manchester
Are you an organized, detail-oriented individual with a passion for logistics and planning? We are seeking a dynamic Planner to join our client’s team on a six month contract. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong communication skills and a customer-first approach to take a key role in optimizing our training delivery plans.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Excellent communication skills: Ability to liaise with internal teams and external suppliers.
  • Customer service orientation: Proactive in addressing client needs and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Attention to detail: Ensures quality and accuracy in all aspects of the training delivery plan.
  • Strong organizational skills: Can prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Experience in logistics planning: Proven ability to optimize resources and processes.
  • Understanding of competence management systems

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain detailed, fully resourced, and optimized training plans to meet national KPIs and customer demands.
  • Maximize trainer and venue utilization through ongoing collaboration with team members, ensuring a smooth and efficient planning process.
  • Monitor and forecast the cost of training delivery, working with external suppliers to ensure services are procured within budget.
  • Provide support for both long-term and short-term planning, ensuring flexibility to accommodate new initiatives and changes.
  • Drive continuous improvement in our planning systems, contributing to an efficient, customer-focused planning service.
