Training Programme Director - Clinical Neurophysiology

The Training Programme Director in Clinical Neurophysiology will support the Head of School in the Strategic Development of the School of Medicine.
The post holder will lead on the development of the School’s Recruitment and Retention Strategy and contribute to supporting the School Operational Programme.
The post holder will be a member of the School Board.
P lease note this is a 3-year secondment extendable to a maximum of three years, subject to mutual agreement.
Work in collaboration with Head of School of Medicine to develop and implement a Medical Workforce Strategy which supports the recruitment and retention of Clinical Neurophysiology Trainees with focus on the regional education programs.

Colleagues with a contractual office base are expected to spend, on average, at least 40% of their time working in-person.
Staff recruited from outside the NHS will usually be appointed at the bottom of the pay band.
NHS England hold a Sponsor Licence; this means that we may be able to sponsor you providing the Home Office requirements are met. To be eligible for sponsorship through the Skilled Worker route you’ll usually need to be paid the ‘standard’ salary rate of at least £38,700 per year, or the ‘going rate’ for your job, whichever is higher. To provide expert advice on Specialty specific matters to the Scheme.
To support the Head of School to ensure appropriate systems for Assessment, Rotational Management, Trainee Supervision & Support and other functions within the School.
To promote or lead work programmes on behalf of the School of Clinical Neurophysiology.
