SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Data/transactional processing experience, inclusive of approval stages.

Responsibilities:

PURPOSE OF ROLE:

This is a contract position for a member of the Transaction Management Team, which is largely responsible for the preparation and input of all transactional data. The focus of the role is the input of all investment-related cashflows into the in-house database. This must be completed based on daily deadlines to facilitate both timely reconciliations and investor reporting. Responsibilities also include resolving cash breaks, answering queries from internal and external stakeholders, and instructing payments through several external banking portals. After gaining confidence in the fundamental aspects of the role, the successful candidate will also be expected to approve the work of their peers.
Other key deliverables of the team include the accurate set up of investment vehicles, as well as the onboarding of new investors into the internal reporting system

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Inputting investor and investment cashflows into Pantheon’s in-house database, according to US GAAP standards with a view to move onto approving inputs from others.
  • Investigating and resolving cash breaks between Pantheon’s database and the investors’ bank accounts, as well as transaction booking discrepancies between the databases of Pantheon and that of our administrators.
  • Investigation and resolution of queries from internal stakeholders, administrators and investment managers (General Partners).
  • Working with the Transactions Control team to resolve unfunded commitment breaks between Pantheon and our General Partners.
  • Supporting and training our offshore team in the booking of transactions.
  • Using online banking portals to fund capital calls for certain investors and instructing internal transfers between bank accounts, on an ad-hoc basis. This includes performing call backs with payment beneficiaries.
