Our Transaction Management Services (“TMS”) team is a new and unique opportunity. The team works closely with private markets investment professionals across Private Equity, Real Estate and Infrastructure investments. Coming into the team at Analyst or Associate level, your main responsibility will be to ensure the overall management of a transaction in an organized and seamless manner. You will maintain the overall view of what is required to bring an investment to closing, and you will drive and coordinate various related work streams with both internal and external parties.
What Will You Be Doing?

As an Analyst / Associate within TMS, you will:

  • Advise a wide range of clients on all aspects of bringing a transaction to closing
  • Support in managing the overall execution (closing) of investments by creating the closing plan and coordinating and monitoring the status of various workstreams across teams and jurisdictions;
  • Liaise with stakeholders on various topics such as the set-up and implementation of acquisition structures, execution of transaction documentation and other investment-specific requirements;
  • Assist in the equity funding process including initial drafts of the funds flows, coordination with external partners (co-investors, syndication etc.) and capital calls;
  • Assist in driving the investment signing and closing step plans and ensure fulfilment of all conditions precedent;
  • Manage client calls to understand critical areas of importance and apply technical knowledge to specific client situations
  • Create deliverables that are concise, complete and address the elements deemed important by the client
  • Manage multiple projects, client engagements and budgets simultaneously and efficiently.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance and/or Law
  • Transactional experience, preferably with exposure to closings of private markets transactions
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Strong excel skills
  • Excellent verbal and written skills, with the ability to establish credibility and influence clients
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Ability to simultaneously work on several projects and effectively manage deadlines
  • High motivation to learn and grow
  • Detail-oriented and possess strong organizational skills
