Description:
IN A NUTSHELL
This pivotal role sees you working alongside our award-winning Corporate Finance team to provide advisory services to our well-established portfolio of large corporate clients and private equity houses.
You’ll be part of a collaborative 130 strong multi-discipline tax team who are spread across our nine offices. With support from our 13 experienced Tax Partners, you will have plenty of opportunities to grow the practice and your tax career.
Responsibilities:
Working in our Transaction Tax team leading on a wide variety of complex projects, bringing in and managing the input of specialist services where needed, including:
- Buy side and vendor due diligence projects
- Vendor advice including clearances and pre-sale structuring
- Buy side structuring for PE backed transactions
- Corporate restructuring, demergers, reorganisations and management buy outs
- Providing deal support such as reviewing SPAs
- Liaising with non-UK firms in the PKF network to obtain input on international tax projects
- Assisting the Partners in the strategy and development of the Transaction Tax practice by building and developing client relationships and the firm’s network both in conjunction with our Corporate Finance team and as a stand alone practice
- Providing coaching and mentoring to junior members of the team to assist with the overall development of their careers and the team as a whole
- Developing and overseeing implementation of processes and procedures to help with risk management and the efficient running of the practice
- Assisting with developing and delivering tax technical training for the team
