JOB DESCRIPTION

As the Transfer Pricing Analyst responsible for transfer pricing reconciliation and reporting, your primary role is to ensure compliance with transfer pricing regulations and accurately report on transactions between related entities within a multinational organization. This role demands a hands-on approach to developing innovative tracking and reporting methods, offering critical support during audits, and engaging in cross-functional collaborations.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably with an advanced degree in tax, accounting, finance, or economics
  • 2-4 years in multinational finance function
  • Transfer Pricing or similar experience is a plus
  • Accounting knowledge, including FASB and GAAP regulations, particularly in assigned line(s) of business

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:

  • Transfer Pricing concepts and their application to the business
  • Demonstrated strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to analyze large quantities of data and use data to improve processes, along with knowledge of PowerBI or other data analysis software
  • Curious and observant with willingness to investigate to understand details of assigned accounts
  • Interpersonal skills, with ability to clearly display and explain numerical information and articulate required accounting treatment

Responsibilities:

  • Controllership: You will be responsible for reconciling and analyzing transactions to ensure they follow process guidelines. This involves reviewing transaction records, financial statements, and supporting documents to identify any discrepancies or potential risks.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Preparing and maintaining transfer pricing documentation in accordance with local regulations and international standards. This includes conducting extensive research, analyzing market data, and preparing transfer pricing reports to support the organization’s compliance efforts.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Preparing accurate and timely reports for internal and external partners. This includes analyzing financial data, preparing transfer pricing documentation, and communicating findings and recommendations to management, tax authorities, and auditors.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, tax, legal, and operations, to gather necessary data and ensure alignment on policies and practices. Additionally, you will communicate transfer pricing-related matters effectively to partners, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Ad-hoc requirements: Support with meaningful analysis and reporting to support the business requirements.
